Between Ohakim And Okorocha's Education Policy In Imo State.
So much noise have been made about the fake free education of this present government, it is my duty to always lead the people on the part of truths:
Here is the breakdown of the educational policies of Ohakim and Okorocha; it is now incumbent on you to compare and contrast:
Before the assumption of of office of governor Rochas Okorocha in 2011, the average tuition fee in Imo State University, IMSU was N30,000 and acceptance fee N32,000. As of today; please find time to visit IMSU and testify as tuition fee is now a whooping N150,000 and N75,000 acceptance fees respectively.
While registration for common entrance examination was N500 (Five hundred Naira) only before now, as against N2,000 for public schools, and N2,500 for private schools.
Cost for junior WAEC is now three times as compared to Ohakim government, while Senior WAEC now goes for about N23,000 Naira, the question now is where lies the free tuition of Governor Rochas Okorocha?
During Ohakim government, the performance of Imo Students taking National Exams like WAEC, NECO etc used be in the first 5th position; but today, you can tell yourself the truths.
No chalks, no teachers' Notebook, up to 3months (N15,00 monthly) salaries are owed teachers.
Pls before you scream murder and start abusing me, do carry out a personal survey and see for yourself, this is the truth.
