The Senate has today confirmed the nominations of Chinelo Amazou for appointment as the Director General of National Pension Commission (PENCOM) and Captain Mukhtar Usman for appointment as the Director General of Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). The duo were given the nod following presentations of the report of the Senate Committee on Establishment and Public Service which screened Anohu-Amazou and the report of the Senate Committee on Aviation which screened Usman. The Senate considered the two reports at the Committee of the Whole and confirmed the nominees for the appointments. The Senate has adjourned sitting for Sallah and will resume on 14th October, 2014.
