This is under 18 northern voters ranging from 8 - 16, 17 years who recently voted at Katsina state local government run off election election and were expected to vote in upcoming election in 2015 starting from house of assembly to presidential election.
They are predominantly almajiri people (northern beggars) who drove in thousands in each polling centers, the reporter said.
These northern under aged voters were led by adults who distributed the card before the election and after the election they (under age voters) were giving N200 each as a bribe and the voters card will be collected back, many party are guilty of this up in the north but who ever that has the control of the imams will definitely out rig his opponents through these means the reporter said.,
the major player are the imams who gave them instructions on who to vote, and as we all know the northern beggar playing here have no say of their own because they have been bought over with N200, also north which is dominantly a homogenous party doing this shows that the 2015 is not going to be an easy one, because of the fact that under aged are allowed to vote
The question now is what is the fate of other faithful who are likely to be christian in upcoming election ?
Was the run off election free and fair with the imams dictating to the kids on who to vote ?
Is the up coming election going to be free and fair with this means of election whereby a group of under aged are allowed to vote and determine who is going to be the president of Nigeria by giving them N200?
Does the constitution actually gives room for under age to vote any where in the country?
Is it the constitutional right of the Adult who led them to the poll to keep their voters card for them ?
