Point By Point Emeka Egoigwe Proves 'Ejike Mbaka' Wrong

I saw it on Facebook and i am publishing as i saw it
Having watched the video of the cross-over vigil by Reverend Father Mbaka where he Whole-heartedly condemned President Goodluck Jonathan without reservations, I am left confused and at the same time, sympathetic to the Holy Ghost father.

He made some valid points against the president and went further to try(out of ignorance or sheer partisanship) to mislead the congregations with half-truths and outright falsehoods.
The Valid points he made include: Continue reading...

1. that Jonathan has not done any significant thing for Ndi Igbo despite our block support for him.

2. That he surrounds himself with people of questionable characters.

3. That he has not maximally deployed all his powers as the C-IN-C of the country in the fight against insurgency and corruption.

4. That he deceives Igbos with names like Ebele and Azikiwe during elections but discards the names soon after elections.
Then, the half truths and outright falsehood he said include:

1. That Jonathan is Bad luck for Nigeria. His opinion?

2. That Insurgency is a simple thing to fight and an easy thing to defeat. USA with all her technology will disagree with him on that one.

3. That Jonathan is the cause of unemployment in the country. So he sacked all the people previously employed before he came to power?

4. That Buhari Built three refineries for Nigeria. Even when he did not even build one?

5. That because we are afraid of the enemies, we should hand over power to the enemies. Why did the people of Israel never surrendered to their enemies?

6. That Buhari and IBB constructed the federal roads in the east while Jonathan could not maintain them. Even when It is on record that before the advent of the present democracy and up till the time of Jonathan, the eastern roads are the worst in the country? Today things are changing. The roads which have not been done, are still under reconstruction. Something we never saw under Buhari and IBB.

7. That his message is from the Holy Spirit. Well, who are we to argue with him on that one? Such messages from him in the past may throw more light to that one.

8. That there is more blood shed in Nigeria today than at any other time in our history as a nation. (What about the civil war and other massacres of Igbo people in some parts of the North?) Has the man of God joined those who think that the lives of the northerners are the only ones that count? Millions of Igbos massacred within a spate of 30months and somehow that is less than about 10,000 people who have died as a result of terrorists activities in the north east region of the country?

9. That Buhari is a better option to Jonathan. In what sense?

10. That as a Civilian president, Buhari would not be able to Sharianise the nation. Because the northern civilian governments did not Sharianise the north?

11. That Buhari never Called for post election violence in this country. Even when pictorial, print media and video evidences abound?

12. That the one saving grace for Nigeria is to vote an illiterate Buhari to power, because according to him, he has the magic wand to make us queue in line as he did in the eighties. As if not being able to queue in line is the reason for all our problems?

All this he said and reminded us that they are words from the pulpit therefore cannot be debated by anybody including fellow priests and pastors, because according to him, they are words from the Holy Spirit.
Hmmmmh!!

Where do we even begin to argue with the Holy Ghost Father whose political predictions and leanings are never based on facts? He once prophesied that Governor Chimaroke Nnamani of Enugu state will never win a second term in office as governor and if he did, he, Mbaka would remove his Soutane. Well, Chimaroke did not just win second term, but went ahead to finish it and installed his successor in the person of Sullivan Chime, the incumbent governor, who by the way, happens to be one of the best performing governors in Nigeria today, and who is also finishing his second tenure by May this year.

One can not also forget in a hurry how he used his ministry and his pulpit and the Holy Spirit to spread a false rumour against the former governor of Imo state, Ikedi Ohakim, that he slapped a Reverend Father even when he was not sure of the veracity of the claim. Recently, he admitted he lied on the pulpit and apologized to Mr Ohakim but the deed was already done.

All this makes one wonder whether he is lying deliberately this time as before, or he is mixing up his personal opinions with the messages he received from the Holy Spirit? Only time will tell... Whatever the case, I'll never vote for Buhari even if he is contesting unopposed because he is an embodiment of what a 21st century leader should not be......
