Lose and Lose Honorable, Win and Win Honorable.

By Kelechi Mbianya

Today is 14 January 2015, by this time next month (14 February) we all must have finished casting our votes to whom we want to entrust the leadership of this great country of nations on his/her shoulder.

Am no longer asking if Goodluck, Buhari or other presidential aspirant are ready, but am asking are Nigerians ready to set this country going?, are Nigeria ready to accept the results?, are Nigerian ready to accept their leaders?, are we ready to take the responsibility of what we are about to do?, is another four years either to move forward or to fail, because woe will befall us for not making this country great by voting in a leader we are not ready to accept his footsteps in Government!

On 14 /2 /2015, you and i will come out with our voters card either PVC or temporary voters card to throw in that person who will lead us, on that day don't vote in emotion, don't vote in money gamblers, but tell yourself, today i will vote in a game changer!, i will vote in person of substance!, i will vote according to my good conscience, vote in progressive in goodness, vote in change that is obtainable, take your time check feasibility of what your prayed leaders promised to give you, don't be brainwashed, leave it to your conscience, use your vote and make a resolution that will take you to another four years! choose what and where you want this country to be after four years and know who amongst the candidates has the program that will champions the course, make a stop and take a step!, mirror the future, take a look of where we are coming from, how this country was at 1960 and try and see what went wrong, look beyond ethical and tell yourself what went wrong in 70's and 80's, look beyond the religion and other dichotomies and ask yourself what actually went wrong and how did we arrive at this place we are today, who/what are the problem we have now and how do we fix it should be the troubling issue in your mind right now, ask yourself this most important question, if am truly a detribalized Nigerian and happens to be the president of this great country, what do i put in place to fix the issue troubling us under this our Democratic settings, then check who among the equals of the candidates stands the best to fix it! don't be fooled with unrealistic project at this trying times of our economy. can that person be a global champion that will seat amongst the leaders of nations of the world and make progressive demand that can enhance his people?, can that person be proud to build a factory in the East? can he be proud to put in place good economy for the West, can he be proud as a Nigerian not as a Western, Southern, Eastern or a Northern, diversify our economy?, can he be able to take our children in the North to a quality school, are we surely secured with his security programs that will come into play?, these and many more should be the burning issue in our various mindset!
