Woman Vomits Live Snake During Deliverance

There was a miraculous experience yesterday at the Sons Manifestation Ministries, located at Magami area of Jalingo, when a 32-year-old woman, Mrs Grace Benjamin vomited a live python snake and other items during deliverance in the church.

Mrs Grace, who confessed after her deliverance, told the church congregation that she has been a member of the marine kingdom for over 15 years.

She added that under the sea were they operate, she was given the title of the queen of the kingdom due to the rules she always played.

Hope for HIV/AIDS patients after 16 years, a Federal High Court in Makurdi, Benue State, has declared the ban placed by ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration on the use of HIV/AIDS vaccine discovered by a surgeon, Jeremiah Abalaka, as illegal, null and void.

Justice Binta Nyako in a 32-page judgment obtained by journalists during a press briefing on Saturday in Abuja, held that efforts like this should be encouraged.

Abalaka and his hospital, Medicrest Specialist Hospital Limited, Gwagwalada, had dragged the Federal Government to court seeking a declaration that the July 20, 2000 ban or suspension of the use
of HIV vaccine he discovered was illegal, null and void, because it violates his Patent No. RP 13567 dated July 22, 1999.

EBOLA: NIGERIAN SOLDIER TESTS POSITIVE IN LIBERIA

Ebola again. A Nigerian soldier on the United Nations’ peace mission in Liberia has tested positive to the Ebola virus, the Associated Press reports.

He is expected to be flown to the Netherlands for treatment, a Dutch Health Ministry spokeswoman said on Friday.

The soldier will go into isolation at a “calamity unit” at the University Medical Center Utrecht, according to Inge Freriksen.

He is due in Amsterdam this weekend and he will be transferred by ambulance to nearby Utrecht, the AP says.
 
Late Thursday, the UN mission announced that the soldier had tested positive to the dreaded disease a day earlier.
 
This is the third case of Ebola among mission personnel, according to Karin Landgren, a top UN envoy in the country. The previous two had died.
 
The mission has so far identified 16 people who came into contact with the soldier, and they have been quarantined, she said. Areas the peacekeeper visited while symptomatic have been decontaminated.
 
The man will be the first Ebola patient hospitalized in the Netherlands. He is being treated in a Dutch hospital at the request of the World Health Organization, Freriksen said.

Severe form of bird flu reported in Netherlands

 A highly contagious form of bird flu has been detected in the Dutch village of Hekendorp, in the province of Utrecht, the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs announced on Sunday.

The National Institute for Public Health and Environment (RIVM) confirmed to national broadcaster NOS that the bird flu variant is H5N8, a type which also occurred earlier this month in Germany.

US Nurse Under Ebola Quarantine Criticizes Treatment

Kaci Hickox, the first nurse to quarantined under a strict new policy on her return from treating Ebola patients in Sierra Leone, criticized her treatment in a Dallas Morning News op-ed on Saturday.

Her words echoed concerns voiced by medical professionals that a mandatory 21-day quarantine for doctors and nurses who have treated Ebola patients would deter volunteers from signing on to fight the epidemic.

"I am scared about how health care workers will be treated at airports when they declare that they have been fighting Ebola in West Africa," Hickox wrote "I am scared that, like me, they will arrive and see a frenzy of disorganization, fear and, most frightening, quarantine."CONTINUE READING.....

COURT ORDERS HUSBAND TO RE-MARRY WIFE HE INFECTED WITH HIV

  An upper Sharia court sitting at Sabon Gari, Kano, has ordered a middle-aged man to re-marry the wife he divorced after infecting her with the HIV/AIDs virus.

Abdullahi Ahmad was dragged to the court by ex-wife Umma Usman, who told the court that the defendant had divorced her and asked her to leave his house after infecting her.

Umma further told the court she had been married to Ahmad, who is her first husband, for about 13 years and that she had several children with him before she later found out that he is HIV/AIDs positive. On October 23, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio hosted a press conference and announced that a 33-year-old man currently kept in isolation at the Bellevue Hospital Center had tested positive for Ebola.

A US doctor based in New York who recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea has become the first person in the city to test positive for Ebola. 33 year old Dr. Craig Allen Spencer had been working with Doctors without Borders in Guinea, and returned to NYC on October 17th. He tested positive to the virus the Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan New York yesterday October 23rd.
