considering screening of passenger who are coming from Ebola hit country, President Obama said
yesterday that though the likelihood of an Ebola outbreak in the US is
"extremely low' but they have to react.
"We're also
going to be working on protocols to do additional passenger screening both at
the source and here in the United States. Countries that think that they can
sit on the sidelines and just let the United States do it, that will result in
a less effective response, a less speedy response, and that means that people
die."
"And it also
means that the potential spread of the disease beyond these areas in West
Africa becomes more imminent," President Obama said at the White House briefing with US health officials

District Attorney, Craig Watkins has revealed that his office is actively
investigating whether or not Mr Duncan, 42 years old Liberian, who is the first
Ebola carrier to enter US will face criminal prosecution should he recover from
his critical condition where he is said to be in hospital isolation unit in
Dallas.
Thomas Duncan could face the charge of
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – with the Ebola virus as that weapon.
If convicted this carries a jail term of two years or more.
