This IS the Reason why Buhari will be Travelling to US Soon

Premium Times has obtained a correspondence indicating Mr. Buhari is only honouring an invitation by the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies [CSIS].

Media reports had suggested some days ago that the APC candidate had become so sick that he was planning a medical trip abroad. Mr. Buhari responded by saying he was not sick but only had cold. On Thursday, the Nigeria Police had withdrawn Tambuwal’s security detail following his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

A source said: “Early this morning, the SSS and civil defence also withdrew their men. We were with the Speaker all through and saw what happened. He’s now left alone. In fact, it is some men of the Sergeant at Arms that now guard his house.”

Tambuwal had cited the crisis in the Sokoto State chapter of the PDP as his reason for defecting to the APC.

"Another Four years of PDP will Send this Country Down the Drain,” -Buhari

 Former military Head of State and a Presidential aspirant under the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Mohammadu Buhari, declared on Saturday that Nigeria may go down the drain if the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) is re-elected again for another term of four years in 2015.
Also, governor of Borno state, Alhaji Kasim Shettima, has cautioned individuals within the APC not to allow their aspirations to jeopardise the collective resolve to salvage the country.
Buhari and the governor were speaking at the Northern stakeholders’ meeting of the APC, which held in Kaduna. The meeting was convened as part of the steps towards producing a consensus candidate for the 2015 presidential election.
The three presidential aspirants including Governor Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso of Kano state were at the meeting, which was attended by all the governors of Borno, Yobe and Zamfara states as well as APC members of the National Assembly from the north.
Buhari said Nigerians are tired of incompetent leadership, adding that the APC was the only hope for salvaging the country from bad governance.
“Every Nigerian is tired of incompetent leadership; another four years of PDP will send this country down the drain,” he said, adding that Nigerians were being killed on a daily basis without the government doing much to protect them.
Buhari recalled his failed attempts to be President on three occasions and urged party leaders to ensure that the people are not disenfranchised in the forthcoming election.

GEN MUHAMMADU BUHARI DECLARES!

Gen Muhammadu Buhari declares for APC presidential ticket- Oct. 15, 2014 in Abuja.
First I would like, Mr Chairman, if I may, pay tribute to Nigerians as a whole who are enduring all sorts of hardships and deprivations on a daily basis. Many millions are grappling with extreme poverty and barely eking out a living. Nearly all are in fear of their lives or safety for themselves and their families due to
Insurgency by the godless movement called Boko Haram;
By marauding murderers in towns and villages;
By armed robbers on the highways;
By kidnappers who have put whole communities to fright and sometimes to flight.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is everyone’s duty to resolve and help the national effort to overcome these immense challenges. I would like us to place on record our appreciation for the efforts of our Armed Forces under new leadership and police in confronting these challenges.
I would like, secondly, to thank our supporters up and down the country for their perseverance and resolve in face of an oppressive PDP government.
