Adoration Ministries, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has escaped sanctions by the Catholic Church over his controversial New Year message to President Goodluck Jonathan, asking him to resign and allow General Muhammadu Buhari to take over in 2015.It was earlier speculated in the media that Mbaka would be sanctioned by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) for his statement, which was seen as provocative and capable on inciting the public against the President.The CBCN, however, rose from its meeting without announcing any punitive action against the fiery priest, whose ministry boasts of over one million members.
Based on the outcome of the CBCN, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Callistus Onaga, summoned all his priests to a meeting at the weekend in Enugu.

Pope Francis has announced
he will be making his first visit to Africa laterthis year. He
will be visiting Uganda and the restiveCentral African Republic.
According to his camp, the visit should have taken place but for Ebola which
hit major parts of Africa last year.

Roman Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, that President Goodluck
Jonathan has over stayed his welcome at the Aso Rock, the
Secretary-General of Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, CSN, Rev Fr. Ralph
Madu has called on the Enugu Bishop to call the preacher to order.
Mbaka has been in the news following his New Year controversial message
where he asked President Goodluck Jonathan, to quietly resign from
office or face humiliation.
The image shows her wearing a white T-shirt
with a red and green logo on it from Pro-Era, a Brooklyn-based hip hop
collective. A representative for Joey Bada$$, who is a member of the
group, told Gawker that the photo was received through “a mutual friend of Malia and the pro era member.”

I saw it on Facebook and i am publishing as i saw it
Having
watched the video of the cross-over vigil by Reverend Father Mbaka
where he Whole-heartedly condemned President Goodluck Jonathan without
reservations, I am left confused and at the same time, sympathetic to
the Holy Ghost father.
He made some valid points against the
president and went further to try(out of ignorance or sheer
partisanship) to mislead the congregations with half-truths and outright
falsehoods.

In appreciation for his
good work and personification of sound Christian principles in public
service and his fruitful collaboration with the Church, the former
Governor of Anambra State has been awarded the Pontifical Equestrian
Order of Saint Sylvester, Pope and Marty. This order is one of five
Orders of Knighthood awarded directly by the Pope as Supreme Pontiff and
head of the Catholic Church and as Head of State of the Vatican City.
The Investiture will take place tomorrow at St. Patrick’s Cathedral,
Awka. Many Bishops and priests are expected at a pontifical mass to mark
the event.
The award which was usually on the recommendation of the
Papal Nuncio or the person’s Diocesan Bishop, in Obi’s case, His
Lordship, Most Rev. Dr. Paulinus Ezeokafor, is usually a call for
greater service to the Church and humanity is associated with great
